Here’s a simple and delicious Stir-Fried Shrimp and Broccoli recipe that’s quick, healthy, and packed with flavor!

Stir-Fried Shrimp and Broccoli

Prep Time: 10 mins | Cook Time: 10 mins | Total Time: 20 mins
Servings: 2-3

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450g) shrimp, peeled & deveined

  • 2 cups broccoli florets

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)

  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)

  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce (or honey for sweetness)

  • 1 tsp sesame oil

  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil (or peanut oil)

  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • Sesame seeds & green onions for garnish

Instructions:

1️⃣ Prep the shrimp: Pat dry and season lightly with salt & pepper.
2️⃣ Blanch broccoli (optional): Boil for 1-2 mins, then drain (or stir-fry directly for crunchier texture).
3️⃣ Stir-fry shrimp: Heat 1 tbsp oil in a wok/pan over high heat. Cook shrimp for 1-2 mins per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
4️⃣ Stir-fry aromatics: In the same pan, add garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Sauté for 30 secs until fragrant.
5️⃣ Cook broccoli: Add broccoli and stir-fry for 2-3 mins until tender-crisp.
6️⃣ Combine: Return shrimp to the pan. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin, and sesame oil. Toss well.
7️⃣ Serve: Garnish with sesame seeds & green onions. Best with steamed rice!

Tips:

✔ For extra flavor, marinate shrimp in 1 tsp soy sauce + 1 tsp cornstarch before cooking.
✔ Swap broccoli with snap peas, bell peppers, or asparagus.
✔ Add a splash of chicken broth for a saucier dish.

Enjoy your quick, healthy, and restaurant-style stir-fry! 🍤🥦 Let me know if you’d like any variations. 😊
