Sausage Cream Cheese Crescents

These flaky, savory, and addictive crescent rolls are stuffed with a creamy sausage-cheese filling—perfect for breakfast, brunch, or game-day snacks! Ready in 25 minutes.


Ingredients (Makes 16 crescents)

  • 1 (8 oz) tube refrigerated crescent dough (or homemade)

  • ½ lb (225g) ground breakfast sausage

  • 4 oz (115g) cream cheese, softened

  • ½ cup (50g) shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • ½ tsp dried parsley

  • 1 egg (for egg wash, optional)

  • Sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning (for topping, optional)


Instructions

1. Cook the Sausage

  1. Brown sausage in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it into crumbles. Drain excess fat.

  2. Reduce heat to low. Add cream cheese, cheddar, garlic powder, onion powder, and parsley. Stir until melted and combined. Remove from heat.

2. Fill & Roll Crescents

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment.

  2. Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.

  3. Spoon 1 tbsp sausage mixture onto the wide end of each triangle. Roll up tightly.

3. Bake

  1. Place crescents on the baking sheet.

  2. (Optional) Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

  3. Bake for 11–13 minutes until golden brown.

4. Serve

  • Enjoy warm! Pair with hot sauce, ranch, or honey mustard.
