Pepperoni Pizza Sliders – Mini Buns, Big Pizza Flavor! 🍕✨
These irresistible sliders pack all the cheesy, pepperoni goodness of pizza into bite-sized Hawaiian rolls. Perfect for parties, game day, or a fun family dinner!
Ingredients (Makes 12 sliders)
For the Sliders:
- 1 pack (12-count) Hawaiian rolls (or slider buns of choice)
- ½ cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 30–40 slices mini pepperoni (or regular pepperoni, halved)
Optional Toppings:
- Cooked sausage crumbles
- Diced bell peppers
- Sliced mushrooms
- Black olives, diced onions, or jalapeños (for extra kick!)
Optional Garlic Butter Glaze: (Highly recommended!)
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Prep: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Without separating the rolls, slice the entire pack horizontally to create a top and bottom “sheet” of buns. Place the bottom half in a greased baking dish.
- Layer:
- Spread pizza sauce evenly over the bottom buns.
- Sprinkle half the mozzarella, then add pepperoni (and other toppings if using).
- Top with remaining cheese.
- Assemble: Place the top half of the buns over the filling. (Optional: Brush with garlic butter glaze before baking for extra flavor!)
- Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Uncover and bake 5 more minutes until cheese melts and buns are golden.
- Serve: Slice into individual sliders and enjoy warm!
Tips
- Make ahead: Assemble, cover, and refrigerate overnight. Bake before serving.
- Extra gooey? Add a sprinkle of Parmesan or provolone.
- Crispy pepperoni: Microwave pepperoni for 30 sec on paper towels to render fat before adding.
