Ingredients (Serves 6-8)
- 1 large round sourdough loaf (unsliced, ~1 lb)
- 8 oz Brie cheese, rind removed, cubed
- ½ cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, minced
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
👩🍳 Instructions
1. Prep the Bread:
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2️⃣ Cut a large “lid” off the top of the sourdough. Hollow out the center, leaving a 1-inch border (save scraps for croutons!).
2. Make Garlic-Herb Butter:
- Mix softened butter, garlic, parsley, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
3. Assemble & Bake:
1️⃣ Spread half the herb butter inside the bread bowl.
2️⃣ Layer cubed Brie and cranberry sauce inside.
3️⃣ Spread remaining butter on the bread “lid.”
4️⃣ Place lid back on, wrap the whole loaf in foil, and bake 20 mins.
5️⃣ Uncover, bake 5-10 mins more until cheese is bubbly and bread is golden.
4. Serve:
- Let cool 5 mins, then slice into wedges or tear apart for dipping.
