Easy-Peasy Meatballs Over Buttered Noodles 🍝🍡

This comfort-food classic combines tender meatballs in a creamy, savory sauce with rich buttered noodles—minimal effort, maximum flavor!

📝 Ingredients (Serves 10–12):

For the Meatballs & Sauce:

  • 2 (10.5 oz) cans condensed cream of celery soup

  • 2 (10.5 oz) cans condensed French onion soup

  • 1 (16 oz) container sour cream

  • 6 lbs frozen Italian-style meatballs (or homemade)

For the Buttered Noodles:

  • 2 (16 oz) packages egg noodles

  • ½ cup butter, softened

  • Salt & pepper to taste

Optional Add-Ins:

  • 1 tsp garlic powder (for noodles)

  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese (for garnish)

  • Fresh parsley (for color)

🍴 Instructions:

1. Cook the Meatballs & Sauce

  1. In a large pot or slow cooker, combine:

    • Cream of celery soup

    • French onion soup

    • Sour cream

  2. Stir well, then add frozen meatballs.

  3. Simmer on stovetop (medium-low, 20–25 mins) or slow cooker (4 hrs on LOW), stirring occasionally.

2. Make the Buttered Noodles

  1. Boil egg noodles in salted water until al dente. Drain.

  2. Toss noodles with softened butter, salt, and pepper (add garlic powder if using).

3. Serve & Garnish

  • Ladle meatballs and sauce over buttered noodles.

  • Sprinkle with Parmesan and parsley if desired.

💡 Pro Tips:

✅ Time-saver: Use pre-cooked homemade meatballs (bake 400°F for 20 mins first).
✅ Slow cooker friendly: Perfect for potlucks—keep on WARM setting.
✅ Lighter option: Swap sour cream for Greek yogurt and use whole wheat noodles.

Creamy, hearty, and foolproof—this is the ultimate crowd-pleaser! 😋

Pair with a simple green salad or roasted veggies. Want extra flavor? Add a dash of Worcestershire sauce to the meatball mixture!
