Deep-Fried Strawberry Cheesecake Stuffed Wonton Bites

Crispy, creamy, and bursting with strawberry-cheesecake goodness! (Like mini cheesecakes meets churros!)


🍽️ Ingredients

Filling

  • 4 oz (115g) cream cheese, softened

  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

  • ¼ cup diced strawberries (fresh or frozen, patted dry)

  • 1 tsp lemon zest (optional)

Wrapping & Frying

  • 12-15 wonton wrappers

  • 1 egg (beaten, for sealing)

  • Oil for frying (vegetable, canola, or peanut)

To Serve

  • Powdered sugar

  • Chocolate drizzle (melted chocolate + coconut oil)

  • Extra diced strawberries


👩🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Make filling: Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Fold in strawberries and lemon zest.
2️⃣ Fill wontons:

  • Place 1 tsp filling in the center of each wrapper.

  • Brush edges with egg wash, fold into triangles (or your favorite shape!), and press to seal.
    3️⃣ Fry:

  • Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) in a deep pot or fryer.

  • Fry wontons 2-3 mins until golden, flipping once. Drain on paper towels.
    4️⃣ Serve: Dust with powdered sugar and drizzle with chocolate. Best eaten warm!
