Crockpot Steak Bites

Prep Time: 10 mins | Cook Time: 4-6 hours (low) or 2-3 hours (high) | Total Time: 4-6 hours

Ingredients (Serves 4–6)

  • 2 lbs sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes (or chuck roast for extra tenderness)

  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce

  • ¼ cup beef broth

  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp paprika (optional, for extra flavor)

  • 1 tbsp brown sugar (optional, for a touch of sweetness)

  • 2 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (for thickening, optional)

  • Fresh parsley or green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prep the Steak: Cut the steak into 1-inch cubes and pat dry with paper towels.

  2. Combine Ingredients: In the crockpot, whisk together soy sauce, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, onion powder, black pepper, paprika, and brown sugar (if using).

  3. Add Steak: Place steak bites into the sauce and stir to coat evenly.

  4. Cook:

    • Low & Slow: 4–6 hours on Low for ultra-tender bites.

    • Faster Option: 2–3 hours on High (check to avoid overcooking).

  5. Optional Thickening (if desired):

    • In the last 30 minutes, mix cornstarch and water, then stir into the crockpot to thicken the sauce.

  6. Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley or green onions.

Serving Suggestions:

  • Over mashed potatoes, rice, or buttered noodles.

  • With a side of roasted veggies or a fresh salad.

Why This Recipe Works:

  • The slow cooking breaks down the steak for fork-tender bites.

  • The savory-sweet sauce infuses deep flavor.

  • Easy prep with minimal hands-on time!

🔥 Pro Tip: For extra richness, stir in 1 tbsp of butter at the end!

Would you like any modifications, like adding mushrooms or a spicy kick? 😊
