Crispy Roasted Cauliflower

Posted on August 20, 2025

Here’s a Crispy Roasted Cauliflower recipe that’s simple, flavorful, and perfect as a snack, side dish, or even a main with a good dip:

🥦 Crispy Roasted Cauliflower

Ingredients:

  • 1 large head of cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 2–3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (or regular paprika)
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan (optional for extra crisp and flavor)
  • 1–2 tablespoons cornstarch or arrowroot powder (for crispiness)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  2. Prepare Cauliflower:
Wash and thoroughly dry the cauliflower florets — moisture will reduce crispiness.
  3. Coat Florets:
In a large bowl, toss the florets with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, cornstarch, and Parmesan (if using). Make sure every piece is evenly coated.
  4. Arrange on Baking Sheet:
Spread out the cauliflower on the baking sheet in a single layer. Avoid overcrowding — use two sheets if necessary.
  5. Roast:
Bake for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the cauliflower is golden brown and crispy on the edges.
  6. Serve:
Serve hot, optionally topped with a squeeze of lemon juice or a sprinkle of fresh herbs like parsley.

Tips for Extra Crispiness:

  • Make sure the cauliflower is completely dry before tossing with oil and seasonings.
  • Don’t overcrowd the baking sheet — air circulation is key.
  • For ultra crisp texture, finish with 2–3 minutes under the broiler at the end (watch carefully to avoid burning).
