Copycat Crumbl Cookies 🍪💖

Bakery-style, thick, and irresistibly soft cookies just like the famous Crumbl—with rotating weekly flavors! Here’s the base recipe + 4 iconic flavors to try at home.


Prep Time: 20 mins | Cook Time: 12 mins | Total Time: 35 mins (+ chilling)

Makes: 6-8 LARGE cookies


Base Cookie Dough Recipe

(Works for most Crumbl flavors!)

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (225g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 1 cup (220g) brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs, room temp
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 3½ cups (440g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp cornstarch (secret for softness!)
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt

4 Iconic Crumbl Flavors

1. Classic Milk Chocolate Chip 🍫

  • Add: 2 cups (340g) milk chocolate chips + extra for topping.
  • Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 mins.

2. Chilled Sugar Cookie 🍦

  • Skip brown sugar, use 1½ cups granulated sugar.
  • Add: ½ tsp almond extract.
  • Top after baking with pink frosting (½ cup buttercream + 1 tbsp milk + pink food coloring).

3. Peanut Butter ft. Oreo 🥜🍪

  • Replace ½ cup flour with ½ cup peanut butter powder.
  • Fold in 1 cup crushed Oreos.
  • Drizzle with peanut butter glaze (melted PB + powdered sugar).

4. Iced Brownie Batter 🍫⚡

  • Replace ½ cup flour with ½ cup cocoa powder.
  • Add: ½ cup chocolate chunks.
  • Top with fudge icing (melted chocolate + heavy cream).

Instructions for ALL Flavors:

  1. Cream butter + sugars until fluffy (~3 mins). Add eggs + vanilla.
  2. Mix in dry ingredients (flour, cornstarch, baking soda/powder, salt).
  3. Fold in add-ins (chips, Oreos, etc.). Chill dough 30 mins (or freeze 10 mins).
  4. Scoop 6 oz balls (½ cup size!) onto parchment-lined sheets.
  5. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 mins (edges set, centers soft).
  6. Cool 10 mins on the pan—they’ll firm up!

✔ Weigh dough for bakery-sized cookies (Crumbl cookies are HUGE!).
✔ Underbake slightly—they continue cooking on the tray.
✔ Freeze unbaked dough for fresh cookies anytime!
