📝 Ingredients (Serves 6–8)

  • 6 slices bacon, cooked & chopped

  • 4 cooked chicken breasts, shredded (~3 cups)

  • 32 oz (1 bag) frozen tater tots

  • ½ cup ranch dressing

  • 1 cup milk (whole or 2%)

  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour

  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • Optional toppings:

    • Sliced green onions

    • Extra ranch drizzle

    • Hot sauce


🍴 Instructions

1. Prep the Sauce

  1. In a saucepan, whisk ranch dressing, milk, and flour over medium heat.

  2. Stir in ½ cup cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt/pepper. Cook until thickened (~5 mins).

2. Layer the Casserole

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  2. Spread shredded chicken in the dish. Top with bacon.

  3. Pour ranch sauce evenly over the chicken and bacon.

  4. Arrange frozen tater tots in a single layer on top.

  5. Sprinkle with remaining 1 cup cheese.

3. Bake

  • Bake 35–40 mins until bubbly and tots are crispy.

  • Broil 2–3 mins for extra browning (watch closely!).

4. Serve

  • Garnish with green onions and extra ranch.
