Ingredients

For the Cajun Seasoning:

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • ½ tsp dried oregano

  • ½ tsp dried thyme

  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper (adjust for heat)

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp salt

For the Pasta:

  • 12 oz fettuccine (or linguine)

  • 1 lb ribeye or sirloin steak, thinly sliced

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined

  • 3 tbsp butter, divided

  • 2 tbsp olive oil, divided

  • 4 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (+ extra for garnish)

  • ½ cup chicken broth

  • 1 tsp lemon juice

  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped

  • Red pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat)

Instructions

  1. Prep & Season:

    • Cook pasta al dente, reserving ½ cup pasta water.

    • Mix all Cajun seasoning ingredients in a bowl.

    • Toss steak with half the seasoning; coat shrimp with the rest.

  2. Sear the Steak & Shrimp:

    • Heat 1 tbsp oil + 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over high heat.

    • Sear steak 2-3 mins per side until browned. Remove & set aside.

    • In the same pan, add 1 tbsp oil and cook shrimp 1-2 mins per side. Remove & set aside.

  3. Make the Alfredo Sauce:

    • Reduce heat to medium, melt 2 tbsp butter, and sauté garlic for 30 sec.

    • Pour in heavy cream, chicken broth, and lemon juice, simmering for 3 mins.

    • Whisk in Parmesan until melted. Add pasta water as needed for creaminess.

  4. Combine & Serve:

    • Toss cooked pasta in the sauce, then fold in steak, shrimp, and parsley.
