🥗 Creamy Caesar Chicken Recipe

🍽️ Servings: 4

⏱️ Total Time: 35–40 minutes

🔥 Oven-baked, low-carb, rich in flavor

📝 Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • ¾ cup Caesar dressing (use a good-quality or homemade dressing)
  • ½ cup sour cream (optional – adds extra creaminess)
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella or provolone (optional, for topping)
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

✅ Pro Tip: Use a Caesar dressing with a strong garlic-parmesan flavor like Ken’s Steakhouse, Cardini’s, or homemade!

👨‍🍳 Instructions

1. Preheat the Oven

  • Preheat to 375°F (190°C).
  • Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

2. Prep the Chicken

  • Pat chicken dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Place chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.

3. Make the Caesar Sauce

    • Sour cream (if using)
    • ½ of the parmesan cheese
  • Spoon the sauce evenly over the chicken.

4. Add Cheese & Bake

  • Sprinkle remaining parmesan and mozzarella on top.
  • Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temp of 165°F (74°C).

5. Garnish & Serve

  • Let rest for 5 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley.
  • Serve with:
    • Roasted veggies
    • Rice or mashed potatoes
    • Or a Caesar salad (double the Caesar flavor!)

🧠 FAQs

❓ Can I make this with chicken thighs?

Yes — boneless, skinless thighs work great and stay extra juicy.

❓ Can I make this ahead?

Absolutely. Assemble everything in the baking dish, cover, and refrigerate for up to 24 hours. Add cheese before baking.

❓ Is this keto or low-carb?

Yes! As long as your Caesar dressing is low in sugar, this is a keto-friendly and low-carb dinner.

❓ Can I use bottled dressing?

Yes. Just make sure it’s a high-quality Caesar dressing. Avoid overly sweet or watery brands for best results.

❓ Can I add vegetables to the pan?

You can! Add cherry tomatoes, broccoli florets, or green beans around the chicken before baking — they’ll roast beautifully in the sauce.
