🧠 FAQs

❓ Can I make these gluten-free?

Yes! Use a 1:1 gluten-free flour blend with xanthan gum or add ½ tsp baking powder if your mix doesn’t have it.

❓ Can I make these vegan?

Yes!

  • Replace the egg with a flax egg (1 tbsp flax meal + 2.5 tbsp water, let sit 5 min).
  • Use vegan butter or coconut oil.

❓ Can I freeze them?

Absolutely. Freeze baked cookies in a single layer, then transfer to a freezer bag. Reheat in the microwave or toaster oven.

❓ How ripe should the bananas be?

The riper the better — deep yellow with brown spots for maximum flavor and sweetness.
