Air Fryer Ribeye Steak (Better Than Grill!)

Juicy, perfectly seared, and ready in 15 mins—no smoke, no guesswork, just steakhouse results at home.


🥩 Ingredients

  • 1 ribeye steak (1–1.5″ thick, room temp)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp kosher salt

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)

  • 2 tbsp garlic herb butter (recipe below)


👨🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Prep steak: Pat dry, rub with oil, then season generously.
2️⃣ Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 mins.
3️⃣ Cook: Place steak in basket (no overlap). Air fry:

  • 6-7 mins per side for medium-rare (135°F / 57°C).

  • 7-8 mins per side for medium (145°F / 63°C).
    (Flip halfway! Thinner steaks cook faster.)
    4️⃣ Rest 5 mins under foil. Top with garlic herb butter (it’ll melt into heaven).


🧈 Garlic Herb Butter

  • Mix 2 tbsp softened butter + 1 minced garlic clove + 1 tbsp chopped parsley + pinch of salt.


💡 Pro Tips

  • For crust: Pat steak extra dry before oiling.

  • No preheat? Add 2-3 mins to cook time.

  • Upgrade: Sprinkle with smoked salt or rosemary.
