Air Fryer Garlic Butter Roasted Mushrooms

Crispy, buttery, and packed with umami flavor—the perfect side dish or steak topper!


🧂 Ingredients

  • 8 oz (225g) mushrooms (cremini, button, or shiitake)

  • 2 tbsp melted butter (or olive oil)

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce (or tamari)

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp thyme (or rosemary)

  • Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)

  • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan (optional, for serving)

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


🔥 Instructions

1️⃣ Prep: Clean mushrooms (don’t soak—wipe with a damp towel). Halve if large.
2️⃣ Marinate: Toss mushrooms with melted butter, garlic, soy sauce, pepper, thyme, and red pepper flakes.
3️⃣ Air Fry:

  • Preheat air fryer to 380°F (190°C) for 3 mins.

  • Spread mushrooms in a single layer (no overcrowding!).

  • Cook for 8–10 mins, shaking halfway, until golden and crispy.
    4️⃣ Garnish: Sprinkle with Parmesan and parsley.

✔ Extra crispy? Spritz with oil halfway.
✔ More garlic? Add ½ tsp garlic powder before cooking.
