Simple, sticky, and packed with umami—these wings are finger-licking good!

1 tbsp honey (or brown sugar)
-
1 tsp rice vinegar (or lime juice)
-
1 garlic clove, minced
-
½ tsp ginger, grated (optional)
-
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional for heat)
Garnish:
-
Sliced green onions, sesame seeds
Instructions:
1. Crispy Wings:
-
Toss wings with cornstarch, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
-
Heat oil in a large skillet (or air fryer at 400°F/200°C) over medium-high heat.
-
Cook wings for 10-12 mins, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
-
Air Fryer Option: Cook for 18-20 mins, shaking halfway.
2. Soy Glaze:
-
In a small pan, mix soy sauce, honey, vinegar, garlic, and ginger. Simmer for 2-3 mins until slightly thickened.
3. Toss & Serve:
-
Drizzle glaze over wings and toss to coat. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
Tips:
🔥 Extra Crispy: Double-fry the wings (fry once, rest 5 mins, fry again).
🍯 Stickier Glaze: Add 1 tsp cornstarch slurry to the sauce.
🌶 Spicy Version: Swap honey for sriracha or gochujang.
Serve with cooling sides like cucumber salad or ranch dip. Perfect for game day!
