Banana Lemon Ginger Smoothie

A bright, zesty, and digestion-friendly smoothie with natural sweetness from banana, a kick of ginger, and a touch of creaminess. Perfect for a morning boost or post-workout refreshment!


Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana (frozen for extra thickness)

  • Juice of ½ lemon (~1 tbsp, adjust to taste)

  • ½ tsp freshly grated ginger (or ¼ tsp ground ginger)

  • ½ cup Greek yogurt (optional, for protein & creaminess)

  • ½ cup water or almond milk (adjust for desired thickness)

  • Ice cubes (optional, for chill)

  • Lemon zest (for garnish)

*(Optional add-ins: 1 tsp honey/maple syrup for sweetness, ½ tsp turmeric for anti-inflammatory benefits, or a handful of spinach for greens!)*


Instructions

  1. Blend

    • Add all ingredients to a blender.

    • Blend until smooth and frothy (add more liquid if too thick).

  2. Taste & Adjust

    • Want more tang? Add extra lemon juice.

    • Prefer it sweeter? Drizzle in honey.

  3. Serve

    • Pour into a glass, top with lemon zest, and enjoy immediately!
