Fruity Tapioca Jelly Drink

A refreshing, colorful drink with chewy tapioca pearls, fruity jelly, and a sweet, icy base—perfect for summer!


📝 Ingredients

For the Tapioca Pearls

  • ½ cup (80g) dried tapioca pearls (boba)

  • 4 cups water (for boiling)

  • 2 tbsp sugar (optional, for sweetness)

For the Jelly

  • 1 packet (3 oz) flavored jelly mix (strawberry, mango, or lychee)

  • 1 cup boiling water

  • 1 cup cold water

For the Drink Base

  • 2 cups fruit juice (passionfruit, peach, or pineapple)

  • 1 cup coconut water or sparkling water (optional)

  • Ice cubes

  • Fresh fruit (diced mango, strawberries, or kiwi)

  • Condensed milk or honey (optional, for sweetness)

Optional Add-Ins

  • Chia seeds

  • Aloe vera cubes

  • Fresh mint leaves


👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Cook the Tapioca Pearls

  1. Boil 4 cups water, add tapioca pearls, and simmer for 15-20 mins until soft.

  2. Drain, rinse with cold water, and toss with sugar. Set aside.

2. Make the Jelly

  1. Dissolve jelly mix in 1 cup boiling water.

  2. Add 1 cup cold water, stir, and pour into a dish. Chill 2+ hours, then dice into cubes.

3. Assemble the Drink

  1. In a glass, layer:

    • Tapioca pearls

    • Jelly cubes

    • Fresh fruit

    • Ice

  2. Pour fruit juice + coconut water over the top.

  3. Drizzle with condensed milk or honey if desired.

4. Serve & Enjoy!

  • Stir well before drinking. Add a fun straw for the full bubble tea experience!
