Posted on June 22, 2025

Oven-baked to tender perfection with a smoky-sweet glaze—no grill needed!

Ingredients:

  • 1 rack baby back ribs (about 2–2.5 lbs)

  • 1 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp paprika

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)

  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (homemade or store-bought)

  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar (for tang)

  • 1 tbsp honey (for shine)

Instructions:

1. Prep the Ribs:

  • Remove membrane from the back of the ribs (slide a knife under and pull with a paper towel).

  • Mix brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and cayenne. Rub all over the ribs.

2. Slow-Bake (Tenderize!):

  • Wrap ribs tightly in foil (meat-side down) and bake at 275°F (135°C) for 2.5 hours.

3. Glaze & Caramelize:

  • Unwrap, brush with BBQ sauce mixed with vinegar and honey.

  • Broil on high for 3–5 mins until bubbly and charred at edges.

4. Rest & Serve:

  • Let rest 10 mins, then slice between bones. Serve with extra sauce!

Pro Tips:

🔥 Extra smoky? Add ½ tsp liquid smoke to the rub.
🍯 Sticky glaze? Brush sauce every 5 mins while broiling.
⏳ Short on time? Bake at 325°F for 1.5–2 hours.

Tagline: “Succulent, sticky, and finger-lickin’ good—these ribs will steal the show!
