🥔 Crispy Sheet Pan Scored Potatoes 🧄✨

Buttery, garlicky, and perfectly crispy—with a fun “fan” shape that soaks up all the flavors!

⏳ Prep Time: 10 mins | Cook Time: 45 mins


✅ Ingredients:

  • 4 medium russet or Yukon Gold potatoes (scrubbed clean)

  • 3 tbsp melted butter (or olive oil)

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp fresh thyme (or ½ tsp dried)

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • Âź tsp paprika (optional, for smokiness)

  • Optional toppings:

    • Grated Parmesan

    • Chopped parsley

    • Sour cream or aioli


📝 Instructions:

  1. Score the Potatoes:

    • Slice thin crosswise cuts (about ⅛-inch apart) along each potato, stopping ½ inch from the bottom (so they stay intact).

  2. Infuse the Butter:

    • Mix melted butter, garlic, thyme, salt, pepper, and paprika.

  3. Coat & Bake:

    • Brush potatoes generously with the butter mix, getting between the slices.

    • Place on a parchment-lined sheet pan.

    • Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 40–45 mins, basting halfway, until golden and crispy.

  4. Broil (Optional):

    • Broil for 2–3 mins for extra crunch!

  5. Serve:

    • Drizzle with leftover garlic butter, sprinkle with Parmesan or parsley, and dip in sour cream.

  • Extra Crispy? Place a wire rack on the sheet pan for airflow.

  • Cheesy Version: Stuff slices with cheddar or mozzarella before baking.

  • Air Fryer Option: Cook at 380°F (190°C) for 25–30 mins, brushing with butter twice.
