Pepperoni Pizza Sliders

Pepperoni Pizza Sliders – Mini Buns, Big Pizza Flavor! 🍕✨

These irresistible sliders pack all the cheesy, pepperoni goodness of pizza into bite-sized Hawaiian rolls. Perfect for parties, game day, or a fun family dinner!


Ingredients (Makes 12 sliders)

For the Sliders:

  • 1 pack (12-count) Hawaiian rolls (or slider buns of choice)
  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 30–40 slices mini pepperoni (or regular pepperoni, halved)

Optional Toppings:

  • Cooked sausage crumbles
  • Diced bell peppers
  • Sliced mushrooms
  • Black olives, diced onions, or jalapeños (for extra kick!)

Optional Garlic Butter Glaze: (Highly recommended!)

  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Prep: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Without separating the rolls, slice the entire pack horizontally to create a top and bottom “sheet” of buns. Place the bottom half in a greased baking dish.
  2. Layer:
    • Spread pizza sauce evenly over the bottom buns.
    • Sprinkle half the mozzarella, then add pepperoni (and other toppings if using).
    • Top with remaining cheese.
  3. Assemble: Place the top half of the buns over the filling. (Optional: Brush with garlic butter glaze before baking for extra flavor!)
  4. Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Uncover and bake 5 more minutes until cheese melts and buns are golden.
  5. Serve: Slice into individual sliders and enjoy warm!

Tips

  • Make ahead: Assemble, cover, and refrigerate overnight. Bake before serving.
  • Extra gooey? Add a sprinkle of Parmesan or provolone.
  • Crispy pepperoni: Microwave pepperoni for 30 sec on paper towels to render fat before adding.
