🍖 Philly Cheesesteak Stuffed Cheesy Breadsticks

Imagine buttery, garlicky breadsticks stuffed with tender shaved steak, melty cheese, and caramelized onions—like a Philly cheesesteak and a soft pretzel had the most delicious baby! Perfect for game day, parties, or indulgent snacking.

🧀 Ingredients (Makes 8-10 breadsticks)

Dough:

  • 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 tbsp melted butter + 1 tsp garlic powder (for brushing)

Filling:

  • ½ lb shaved ribeye steak (or thinly sliced sirloin)
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 small green bell pepper, thinly sliced (optional)
  • 4 slices provolone cheese, torn
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt

Topping:

  • Âź cup grated Parmesan
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • Cheese sauce or marinara for dipping

🔥 Instructions

1. Cook the Filling:

  • In a skillet, sautÊ onions and peppers in oil until soft (5 mins).
  • Add steak, Worcestershire, salt, and pepper. Cook 3-4 mins until browned. Drain excess juice.
  • Off heat, stir in provolone and mozzarella until melty.

2. Assemble Breadsticks:

  • Roll dough into a 12×8-inch rectangle. Cut into 8-10 strips.
  • Spoon filling down the center of each strip. Fold dough over, pinch edges to seal, and twist gently.

3. Bake:

  • Place on a parchment-lined tray. Brush with garlic butter.
  • Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15-18 mins until golden.

4. Serve:

  • Sprinkle with Parmesan and parsley. Serve hot with cheese sauce or marinara.

💡 Pro Tips:

  • Meat hack: Use pre-shaved steak (or freeze steak for 30 mins to slice thin).
  • Extra cheese? Add Cheez Whiz inside or drizzle on top.
  • Air fryer option: Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 mins.

🎉 Why It’s a Winner:

✅ Ooey-gooey cheesesteak center
✅ Crispy, buttery exterior
✅ Feeds a crowd (or one very hungry person)

Pair with a cold beer and pretend you’re in South Philly! 🍻 Let me know if you want a spicy jalapeño version. 😋
