1 lb (450g) fresh green beans, trimmed
-
2 tbsp olive oil
-
3 cloves garlic, minced
-
Salt & pepper, to taste
-
½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
-
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
-
½ tsp Italian seasoning (optional)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
(Optional add-ins: red pepper flakes, lemon zest, or crispy bacon!)
Instructions
1. Prep & Cook the Green Beans
-
Blanch (optional): Boil green beans in salted water for 2-3 mins, then drain and rinse with cold water (keeps them bright green and crisp-tender).

Add green beans, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat and cook 5-7 mins until tender but still crisp.
2. Add Cheese & Broil
-
Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan over the green beans.
-
Optional: Add Italian seasoning or red pepper flakes.
-
Broil for 2-3 mins (watch closely!) until cheese is melted and bubbly.
3. Garnish & Serve
-
Top with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
