200g fettuccine (or linguine)
-
2 garlic cloves, minced
-
1 cup heavy cream
-
½ cup grated Parmesan (+ extra for garnish)
-
1 tbsp olive oil
-
2 tbsp butter
-
Salt & pepper to taste
-
½ tsp lemon zest (optional, for brightness)
-
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Cook Pasta
-
Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
2. Sauté Seafood
-
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
-
Season salmon and shrimp with salt/pepper. Sear salmon 2–3 mins per side, then remove.
-
In the same pan, cook shrimp 1–2 mins per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
3. Make Alfredo Sauce
-
Reduce heat to medium. Melt butter, sauté garlic until fragrant (~30 sec).
-
Pour in heavy cream, simmer 2 mins. Stir in Parmesan until melted.
-
Add pasta water as needed for a silky texture. Season with salt/pepper.
4. Combine & Serve
-
Toss pasta in sauce, gently fold in salmon and shrimp. Garnish with parsley, lemon zest, and extra Parmesan.
🔥 Pro Tips:
-
Extra flavor? Deglaze the pan with a splash of white wine before adding cream.
-
Vegetable add-ins: Spinach or asparagus work beautifully.
-
Spice it up: Add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
