Old-Time Pecan Logs 🍥🌰

Just like Grandma made—chewy, nutty, and sweet with only 3 ingredients! No baking required.

Prep Time: 20 mins | Chill Time: 2 hours | Total Time: 2 hrs 20 mins
Makes: 12-15 logs


Ingredients

  • 1 box (11 oz) vanilla wafers, finely crushed (~2½ cups crumbs)

  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

  • 3½ cups chopped pecans, divided

  • Optional: 1 tsp vanilla extract or pinch of salt


Instructions

1. Make the Dough

  1. In a food processor, pulse vanilla wafers into fine crumbs.

  2. Mix crumbs with sweetened condensed milk and 2 cups pecans until a thick dough forms.

2. Shape the Logs

  1. Roll tablespoon-sized portions into 2-inch logs.

  2. Press remaining 1½ cups pecans onto the surface.

3. Chill & Serve

  1. Refrigerate for 2 hours to firm up.

  2. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
